Note: This is a legacy lens meaning it has been discontinued. Its rather popular so we’ll continue to carry it as long as we have stock, but if one breaks or goes missing, we can’t get a replacement to fill reserved orders.

This reflex (mirror) telephoto lens has its advantages and disadvantages. It is remarkably small and light for the magnification it achieves, scarcely larger than a normal size lens. Reflecting light off of mirrors, rather than bending it through lenses, eliminates chromatic aberration and provides excellent sharpness and contrast. The aperture is fixed at f/8, however, and out of focus highlights have a ‘doughnut’ shape rather than a smooth, spherical shape. And one of the very few mirror lenses to offer autofocus.
