Sony HVL-F42AM Flash

Providing strong illumination in a lightweight package, the Sony HVL-F42AM flash unit maintains an effective range of more than 30 feet (and a guide number of 42). Flexible adjustment angles provide greater flexibility for bouncing light from the ceiling, walls, or bounce cards. Sony alpha cameras feature an operating mode which sends wireless signals to one or more HVL-F42AM flashes, enabling the user to operate off-camera lighting systems easily. The HVL-F42AM flash unit recharges approximately 38% faster than Sony’s previous entry-level flash.
