Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro for Sony

The Sigma Macro 70mm f/2.8 EX DG lens is ideal for both digital and 35mm film SLR cameras. The 70mm focal length gives an equivalent field of view to the popular 105mm macro lens when used crop sensor cameras.

The floating focus system makes it suitable for taking pictures in all situations, from infinity to 1:1 macro. A focus-limit switch further helps to prevent the lens from hunting for focus. The fast f2.8 aperture makes working in both natural light conditions and controlled-light possible. Sigma incorporated a combination of low dispersion lenses to correct for aberrations, and a multi-layer lens coating to minimize flare and ghosting.
