The Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 Ultra-Wide Heliar III for Leica is an extremely wide lens for Leica M-mount cameras and camcorders. Key features include:
Ultra-Wide Lens. The Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 Ultra-Wide Heliar III is one of the widest lenses available in the Leica M mount. It gives you a 121° diagonal angle of view and is compatible with full-frame digital and 35mm film M-mount cameras.
High-Quality Optics. A revised version of the Heliar optical design gives you twelve elements in ten groups with one aspherical element. That means the 12mm has an excellent handle on spherical aberrations and distortion throughout the aperture range. Its rounded ten-blade aperture provides pleasing bokeh, while the built-in lens hood helps eliminate lens flare and ghosting.
Manual Focus. This lens’s manual-focusing design gives you smooth, precision control over focus placement. The 12mm f/5.6 III has a 1.6-foot minimum focusing distance.
