Will I be able to control this kit wirelessly out of the box?

No, you won’t be able to control this kit wirelessly out of the box. You’ll need the paid Luminair app or another third-party app, which is not included with this rental. You can purchase the Luminair app here.

Can this be powered via battery?

Yes, but due to shipping restrictions we do not carry any compatible 26V V-mount batteries.
We do, however, carry both the Westcott Dual Gold Mount to V-Mount Battery Adapter and Dual V-Mount to V-Mount Battery Adapter to enable two 14.4/14.8V Gold and V-Mount batteries to power the light. Do note that batteries & chargers are not included with the adapters.
