The Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD is an all-in-one superzoom designed for crop-frame Canon DSLRs. Key features include:
18.8x zoom range; macro focusing down to 1:2.9
In-lens vibration compensation
Fast, nearly silent autofocus
Advanced optics for high-quality images
Di II refers to Tamron’s second generation of Digitally Integrated Design lenses featuring coatings and designs to prevent ghosting and flare as well as reducing vignetting with modern digital cameras.
VC is Tamron’s take on vibration compensation found in many other lenses from first and third-party manufacturers. This refers to the vibration compensation mechanism used to counter blurred lines that can occur with handheld camera operation, tele photography, and shoots requiring long shutter speeds.
You can only use this lens with Canon crop-sensor cameras, such as the EOS T7i, 7D Mark II, and 80D.
