Innovative Interview Tool. The EyeDirect Mark II lets you set up with the interviewer behind the camera and off to either side, but still lets the subject maintain focus and eye contact with the interviewer thanks to a detachable wing with 40° of lateral adjustability and 35° of tilt adjustment. Because you can easily set up the Mark II to accommodate the interviewer being on either side of the camera, you have the freedom to compose your shots without compromise, and without worrying about the interviewer leaning into the shot.
Versatile Prompter. The EyeDirect Mark II can function as a prompter, and it supports iPads and other tablets from 5.5 × 9 inches up to 7 × 10 inches and up to 3/8 inches thick. Its 50/50 beam splitter lets the talent see the text without it appearing on your image. Please note that this rental doesn’t include prompting software or a tablet, although we offer tablets as separate rental items.
Easy Setup and Modification. The Mark II mounts on an 18-inch long plate that mounts to your tripod, letting you balance it with a range of DSLRs and mirrorless cameras (with the included DSLR riser block), ENGs, or digital cameras. You can adjust the Mark II’s height by about 4.5 inches to center it on your camera. A 160mm rear opening lets you outfit your setup with prime or zoom lenses, and an included rubber donut works with lenses that have a 52mm to 80mm outside diameter. As previously mentioned, the Mark II accepts iPads and other tablets from 5.5 × 9 inches up to 7 × 10 inches and up to 3/8 inches thick its prompter functionality, and the detachable, adjustable wing lets the interviewer find the ideal position on either side of the camera.
Rolling Case Included. This rental includes a durable EyeDirect-branded rolling case that’ll protect the Mark II from impacts, debris, and water.
