Leica L Mount. This lens mount offers autofocus capability for the Leica T mirrorless camera. Please note that this lens isn’t compatible with Leica M-mount cameras.

Normal-Range Zoom. Providing a 27-84mm focal length after sensor crop, the Leica 18-56mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Vario-Elmar-TL is a wide to short tele zoom that’s great as an all-around, general purpose lens. Its f/3.5-5.6 variable aperture doesn’t give much flexibility in low light, so you’ll want to stick with decent lighting conditions with this one. As mentioned above, the lens does have autofocus capability with manual override when it’s needed.

High-Quality Optics. As you’d expect from Leica, the ASPH Vario-Elmar-TL features high-quality optics. Its seven-group/ten-element lens design includes four aspherical surfaces that minimize aberrations and contribute to its compact size. The internal-focusing design keeps the front element in place, allowing unrestricted use of the 52mm filter threads.
