The Shure SM58 is a wired hand-held microphone.

It includes a 25 foot long XLR cable and a Windtech windscreen.

The SM58 features 60Hz to 15kHz response, perfect for vocal work, and is of rugged full-metal construction. It has a built-in ‘pop’ filter and handles extreme sound levels without distortion. Output is XLR. It is a dynamic type mic, so no phantom power is needed.

Mike’s Take: An industry standard since before I was born. This microphone is used everywhere. It has been used for professional recordings, live audio, broadcast media, etc… and it’s the most durable microphone I’ve ever seen. Great sound quality in a durable package.
