The Canon C200B is a professional-grade digital cinema camera in Canon’s Cinema EOS lineup. It’s essentially a modified version of the EOS C200 EF that’s designed for gimbal use. Key features include:
8.85MP 4K DCI Super 35 CMOS sensor
12-bit/10-bit 4K RAW or 4:2:0 8-bit in 4K UHD/2K
Internal 4K RAW using Cfast or 4K UHD/HD using dual SDXC
C200 with a minimalist design for gimbals, drones, and jibs

At the moment, we can only recommend the Shogun Inferno. This is because when trying to record 4K at 60p, this camera won’t output the menu over HDMI.
The only work-around that we know of is to use the SDI to make your adjustments, and then switch back over to HDMI.

While a combination of skill, compact lenses, and/or extension arms may make it possible to accurately balance the C200 on gimbals designed for DSLR and Mirrorless systems, we only recommend flying this camera on larger gimbals like the Movi Pro.
No. The C200 is not capable of outputting 4K video over SDI. Currently 4K output is limited to HDMI. For full output specs, click “diagrams” in the resources section of this page.
You can’t change this camera’s codec. It’ll only record in RAW onto CFast cards, and in MP4 onto SD cards.
If you’re not shooting exclusively with a gimbal stabilizer, you’re probably looking for the Canon EOS C200 EF Cinema Camera.
