Canon 2x TC III

The Extender EF 2X III features three groups of seven elements, ensuring improved optical performance. All optical elements use Canon’s Super Spectra coating which reduce ghosting and flare to minimize post-processing requirements. A new Fluorine Coating on the front and rear elements makes marks, like spots left by water or fingerprints, much easier to clean than standard coatings.
The extender features an integrated processor which ensures all focusing, metering and ID information is available. Canon claims that combined with the latest range of premium Canon L-series lenses, these extenders enable higher AF accuracy.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The Canon 2x will not fit on wide angle or standard zooms, wide angle primes or many third-party lenses.
- If you rent a 2x teleconverter and are using it on any lens other than the Canon 200mm f/2.0 IS, 300mm f/2.8 IS, 400mm f/2.8 IS, 500mm f/4 IS, or 600mm f/4 IS, you are probably not going to be happy with the result, if it works at all. If you decide you want to use it with another lens, do so at your own risk. Please don’t expect us to refund the rental when it didn’t work with your 70-300 f/5.6 zoom.

LensRentals.com ships via the appropriate FedEx service necessary to have your rental arrive on the date selected. Return shipping is included in the shipping price, and we include a prepaid return label with your order - all you need to do is bring it to a FedEx drop-off location when your rental is complete. If you prefer UPS shipping, you can select it during the checkout process for about 10% more.
