![]() This is another relatively unknown but excellent prime lens. Very similar to the 85mm f/1.8 in size and sharpness, the 100mm f/2 makes an excellent portrait lens and is useful for indoor sports where wide aperture is a must. Roger’s take: In my world, this little lens has one primary purpose: it’s a great low-light indoor sports lens when you need the wide aperture, sharp images, and reasonably fast autofocus. Those qualities would also make it a good lens for other purposes, I’m sure. I just haven’t figured out what those purposes might be. Does Not Include: lens hood Specs:
