The Voigtlander 28mm f/2.8 Color Skopar SL-II is a wide angle pancake lens in Canon EF-mount. It’s compatible with both Canon full-frame and crop-frame sensor cameras, providing a compact, manual focus wide angle lens with a relatively fast f/2.8 aperture. Being a wide angle lens, it works great for shooting landscapes, as well as walk-around street photography.
Despite its small size and light weight (0.51lbs!), the Voigt 28mm does have an all-metal lens construction. Its 6 group / 7 element optical formula includes one double-sided aspherical element, helping to minimize optical aberrations. Its close focus distance of 8.66" lets you get in close to your subject for great exaggerated perspective shots. If you need a compact wide angle that offers full-frame coverage, the Voigt 28mm is good lens to consider.
