This is the newest version of Canon’s flagship flash. It’s extremely powerful with a guide number of 190, full tilt and swivel ability, and an autofocus assist beam. It has a shorter recycling time (0.1 second) than the 580EX Mark I and makes no audible noise while recharging. It can be controlled via the camera’s menu on most newer Canon bodies and is of sturdier build than the original version.
