Leica APO-Televid 65 Spotting Scope

Leica’s APO-Televid 65 features true apochromatic color correction with fluoride glass elements, for the very best contrast, resolution and subject/background delineation. It also comes standard with Leica’s 25-50x ASPH eyepiece which maintains a wide viewing angle throughout its zoom range, even at the lower magnifications, providing a 59-80° apparent field of view. The APO-Televid 65 is a hydrophobic (water-repelling) lens coating that significantly increases the usability of the unit in damp or wet conditions.
This is the angled version of the 65mm APO-Televid, which delivers the view at a 45° relative to where the scope is pointed. This requires a bit more experience to get the hang of using, but this scope is generally preferred whenever you’re sharing with multiple users or if you’re using the scope to view celestial objects. It has a retractible lens hood built-in and a dual-geared focusing mechanism for quick and accurate adjustments. It can also view objects as close as 10 meters.
