An ultrawide angle prime lens with 94 degree field of view and great edge to edge sharpness. The major advantages of this lens over a wide zoom are its small size (its pocketable), low cost, and ability to focus as closely as 10 inches.
Please note: This lens does not have a built-in autofocus motor. Therefore, it is not fully compatible with Nikon DSLRs such as the Nikon D40, D50, D3100, D5100, etc.

A throwback lens, none of your fancy aspherical, low dispersion stuff here. Just a tiny, reasonably sharp prime that covers a full frame sensor quite nicely. The kind of lens I might carry in my pocket thinking "I probably won’t need anything wide today, but just in case . . . . .
