The Pentax K-30 is a lightweight, full-featured APS-C DSLR. Its 16.3MP CMOS sensor allows the capturing of high resolution images for all types of photography. It has a normal ISO range of 100-12800 (expandable to 25600), with an 11 point (9 cross) wide autofocus system. Its 6 fps continuous mode and built-in Shake Reduction image stabilization (3-stops) let you capture fast-paced action in sharp detail, with a full weather sealed body providing peace of mind even in less-than-perfect shooting conditions. The 77-segment metering system ensures accurate exposures, with a 100% FOV viewfinder with 0.92X magnification for image composition. It also features a 3.0" 921K rear LCD with focus peaking, making live view shooting a breeze. Images are recorded to SDHC / XC memory cards in either JPG or Adobe DNG format, giving users a wide variety of editing flexibility. As for video capabilities, footage can be recorded in MOV or MPEG-4 (h.264) format in full 1080p at 24, 25, or 30fps. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery allows roughly 480 images per charge.
