No. This version of the VidiU Go is only capable of streaming via Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
Yes! By Teradek’s own admission, the Vidiu Go can be difficult to configure using the front display. Should the front display stop working during the course of your shoot, you can still interface with the device using the Vidiu app for iOS or Android in AP or Client mode or you can access the Web UI front a browser window by connecting to the Vidiu’s network and entering 172.16.1.1 into the URL.
Additionally, we’ve seen numerous reports of battery issues so we recommend powering the device at all times using the included AC adapter. If wall power is not available at your shooting location, we recommend renting an external power source like the Anker PowerCore+.
In our experience, the battery usually lasts about 80 minutes. We do not have spares for this product.
Yes, but this features requires a subscription to the Teradek Core service.
