The Wi-Fi enabled HERO3: Black Edition is 30% smaller, 25% lighter and has twice the low light ability of the HERO 2. The HERO 3: Black offers enhanced 2.7K (30fps) and 4K (15fps) shooting modes, while providing full HD video capture, still shooting, and time-lapse modes.
Waterproof Housing. The HERO3 waterproof enclosure offers enhanced durability and the ability to shoot at depths up to 190ft. The newly improved flat-front lens on the housing allows sharp image quality above and below water.
Wide Field Of View. An ultra wide field of view of 170° gives this camcorder great vantage in tight spaces as well as a wide depth of field; ensuring the image you capture is clear. Normal and narrow field of view modes are offered but not recommended as they are achieved through a sensor crop.
Wi-fi Capable. Download the GoPro app to control the camera via your smartphone, or use the provided wi-fi remote.
