Will I need anything else?

That’s a loaded question. From a media standpoint, you’ll need at least a RED Station such as the RED Station REDMAG 1.8 and a REDMAG 1.8 in. SSD to record to.

Are there any potential compatibility issues?

The REDMAG format is not compatible with any DSMC2 RED brain or Mini-Mag accessory.
If you’re shooting higher frame rates and resolutions, or if you’re planning on using the RED Epic Dragon / Scarlet Dragon, you should consider the RED Mini-Mag SSD Format instead.
