Canon MR-14EX Macro Flash

Canon’s smaller Macro ringlight, the MR-14 has circular twin flash tubes that can fire at even power or vary individually over a six-stop range to provide contrast. One or more Canon Speedlites can be used as wireless slaves triggered by the MR-14EX for additional lighting. The controller unit now has an illuminated full-info LCD panel and complete E-TTL control.
Please Note: In order to use this macro flash with the Canon 180mm f/3.5 macro, you must also rent the Canon Macrolite 72mm Macro Flash Adapter. Attaching a macro flash to the 100 f/2.8 IS Macro L-series lens requires the Canon Macrolite 67mm Adapter.

The MR-14EX is a great option for dedicated macro shooters. Its front-mounting flash unit allows you to get very close to your subject, making it great for flower and product detail shots. With full E-TTL control, the MR-14EX lets you focus on your subject, rather than continually fumbling with power settings.
