Versatile Focal Range. The Leica 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH Vario-Elmarit-SL covers a fairly wide array of perspectives. With full-frame sensor coverage, this lens’s focal length is the go-to for portrait, wedding, event, and travel photography. It covers the wide to portrait focal lengths to give you the most flexibility while still maximizing image quality and speed. You can also use this lens on APS-C cameras, on which it’ll provide a 36-105mm equivalent focal-length range.

An internal focusing system means the front filter ring doesn’t rotate during use, which makes it easier to work with circular polarizers, graduated ND filters, or other types of filters that depend on a specific orientation.
