The ARRI ALEXA LF Basic Camera Set (LPL) is the premium, studio spec’d, and high speed sibling to the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, capable of recording ProRes to SxS or up to 4.5K ARRIRAW with SXR drives. Key features include:

Premium Large Format. The ALEXA LF utilizes the ALEV 3 A2X large-format sensor which provides low noise at its native ISO 800, natural skin tones, true colors, and 14+ stops of dynamic range. The camera does not include ND filters but the ARRI ALEXA LF FSND Filter Set can be rented separately.
Basic Camera Set. This rental is only for the ARRI ALEXA LF Body and a few select accessories and will require additional rental items to be a functional camera. This barebones option might be for you if your Alexa is at a repair facility or if you’re looking for a backup camera. At the very least, it’ll need SXR media and an LPL-compatible lens to be operational. This rental does not include a battery plate, and access to AC power will be needed.
Record Up to 4.5K ARRIRAW. ARRIRAW recording is included out of the box and capable of capturing the full, open gate 4448 × 3096 pixel area of the sensor at up to 90 fps to proprietary ARRI SXR Capture Drives. Straight-to-ProRes recording is of course still an option up to 40 fps in open gate mode.
SXR or SxS Media. To use the full recording capabilities of this camera, you’ll want to use ARRI SXR Capture Drives, but ARRI Sony 256GB SxS Pro+ Memory Cards can be used for recording up to UHD 4K/30p in the ProRes 4444 XQ codec. A SxS adapter is included in this rental.
