BiDirectional Converter. The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G-SDI can simultaneously convert signals between professional-grade SDI broadcast equipment and fiber optic sources with an additional SDI loop-out. It supports video signals up to DCI 4K25 and UHD 4K60 when paired with a compatible SFP adapter.

SDI Reclocking. The Mini Converter offers reclocking on the 12G-SDI input, which reduces jitter and improves SDI eye pattern before the signal is processed. This improves performance over long cable lengths.

Mounting Options. The Blackmagic converter box itself has no means of mounting, so we made a custom bracket that allows you to mount the converter with either male or female 1/4-20" threads.

SFP Adapter Not Included. This converter requires an additional SFP optical adapter, which is not included with the rental by default. If you need an adapter, they are available here as separate rental items.
