Fast and Simple SSD Solution. The Blackmagic Design MultiDock 10G offers four illuminated SSD slots that can simultaneously be edited on a Mac or Windows computer via its USB-C ports. Each slot will illuminate depending on which slot you are currently editing, giving you a clear view of which slot is being accessed. This MultiDock is compatible with any brand of SSD’s, and is an extremely flexible unit that is capable of seamlessly moving between editing systems and locations. Editing is made a breeze because of its compatibility with most major editing softwares, including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro CC, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Smoke, and more.
Quality Design. The all-metal Multidock 10G allows the user to rack-mount the unit on any professional rack or HyperDeck Extreme, and offers a repairable design to replace the socket connecters if needed. The built-in power supply of this unit ensures no power is used from laptop batteries and it has enough power to run four high-performance disks all at the same time in RAID configurations, and even supports the RAID software built into most operating systems, so you can customize your disk array for your needs.
Inputs and Outputs. Located on the rear panel are two USB-C ports, used for moving the files off your SSD and onto your Mac or Windows computer, without the need to install additional software. Also located on the rear panel is a slide switch to allow selecting between using four disk slots on a single USB Type-C port, or two slots on each port for shared use. Additionally, the built-in AC power supply provides the power to run all four SSDs or hard disks, at the same time.
