It’s a really simple setup here—just by plugging the included lavalier microphone and clipping the recorder to your belt, you can capture high-quality 24-bit or 32-bit audio without RF interference or audio dropouts that typically can happen with these types of devices.
Wireless Timecode Sync and Control. This device is capable of wirelessly syncing timecode, which in turn allows you to sync your audio and video footage in post-production significantly quicker and easier. Using the Sidus Link app for iOS/macOS/Android, you can remotely control the PR-2 from up to 250-feet away.
Power and Additional Features. The PR-2 is fueled for up to 30 hours by two AA batteries, which will not be included with this rental. To prevent accidental stopping of recording in the middle of production, the PR-2 also features a triple-tap locking method. A toggle switch on top of the recorder allows you to pass the microphone plug-in power from the output thru to the input, allowing you to daisy chain a transmitter and use it as a power source to the lavalier (even if the PR-2 is turned off)!
