The Tripod Mount Ring provides extra support when larger HC/HCD lenses are mounted to the adapter by relieving excess weight from the camera’s lens mount and body. The Tripod Mount Ring is compatible with the Quick Coupling Plate H and has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded sockets to mount directly to tripod heads as well.
