Jack of All Trades. The Hollyland Mars M1 Enhanced 5.5" Wireless Transceiver Monitor does exactly what its name suggests- transmit footage, receive footage, and display footage. What makes it special is just how well it does all those things, fitting in perfectly with just about any workflow.
Plugged In. The M1’s SDI input is good for 1080p footage, but if you need more, the HDMI input supports up to 4K30 video. There’s even an HDMI loop output and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For longer shooting sessions, the monitor can be powered via DC input or with a D-Tap cable connected to a larger battery pack.
Wireless. Where the M1 really shines is when you go wireless. With the integrated L-series battery plate, you can step away from the heavy battery packs or power strips. The M1 is fully compatible with many Hollyland wireless systems, like the Mars 300 Pro, Mars 400S Pro, and Mars 4K models. You can even transmit footage to a smart device equipped with the HollyView app. The M1 will automatically select the most interference-free channel for optimal connectivity, and it’s good for distances up to 450 feet, as long as any paired devices also support that distance.
Sweet Software Suite. HollyOS powers the M1 and provides advanced monitoring tools like waveform, vectorscope, zebra pattern, anamorphic de-squeeze, and more. The HollyView app, available on both Android and iOS devices, offers transmission monitoring from a smartphone or tablet.
