The Leica 24-90mm f/2.8-4 Vario-Elmarit-SL features a fifteen-group/eighteen-element construction that utilizes four aspherical elements and eleven anomalous partial-dispersion elements. All of that glass means reduced chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range for giving you an image that is sharp and clear. The Optical Image Stabilization system can handle up to 3.5 stops of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting with longer shutters.

Focus, Focus, Focus. The linear stepping motor provides smooth, nearly silent, and accurate autofocus performance. The Vario-Elmarit SL 24-90 focuses at a mere 11.8 inches at the 24mm focal-length position, or and at an impressive 17.7 inches in the 90mm focal-length position. An internal focusing system means the front filter ring doesn’t rotate during use, which makes it easier to work with circular polarizers, graduated ND filters, or other types of filters that depend on a specific orientation.

Versatile Focal Range. The 24-90mm L-mount zoom covers a fairly wide array of perspectives. This lens is designed for use on full-frame mirrorless cameras, but can also be used on APS-C-sized models where it will provide a 36-135mm equivalent focal length range. It’s great for everything from wide-angle to portrait-length shooting.
