The 35 f/1.4 Nokton is a compact, fast-aperture telephoto lens for Leica M-mount cameras and the predecessor to the Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton II for Leica. Key features include:

The 35 f/1.4 Nokton is fairly sharp wide open—sharper than the kit lens, for example—and is much sharper by f/2.8. It’s great in low light, and its ten-blade aperture creates pleasing out-of-focus highlights.

It sports an all-metal construction, and it features a smooth manual-focus design for precision control.

The Voigtlander “M” lenses are quite small. They’ll fit on a Micro 4/3s camera with an adapter. Please note that you must have (or rent) a Leica M to Micro 4/3 adapter to use this lens on a Micro 4/3 mount camera.
