Attachment. The adapter plate has both 1/4"-20 and 3/8-16 female threading for attachment to the Glidecam platform, and the plate has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 male threading for mounting to a wide variety of cameras.

Ease of Use. There’s 0.8 inch of sliding travel that aids for balancing the camera, and the 2-stage quick-release system ensures the camera won’t slide off accidentally.
