A Head Above the Rest. The Miller CX8 SOLO-Q 75 3-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod kit stands at the top of its class with range topping heights of 15.7 – 80.7". Despite being a uniquely tall tripod system, this kit breaks down to fit in the included 36" carrying case and weighs a mere 11 lbs.
Medium Duty Payload Capacity. This tripod kit features the CX8 fluid head that offers a weight capacity of up to 26.4 lbs. and uses a 75mm ball level stud that can be removed for flat base mounting. The tripod alone can support up to 44 lbs. on its 75mm bowl.
Quick Release. The CX8 head features Miller’s quick release, side load camera plate system, enabling quick removal and an unobtrusive plate. Additionally, the integrated sliding baseplate offers approximately 2.4" of sliding range for quick balancing and precise caliper locks for bounce free on-off performance.
Drag & Counterbalance System. The 16-step counterbalancing system ensures the perfect counter to payloads anywhere between 2-pounds and 37-pounds, and drag control is offered on pan and tilt axes in 5 increments.
No Spreader Required. The Miller Solo-Q tripod utilizes 3-position leg angle locks and patented Q-Lock technology for quick deployment that is exceptionally stable and ultra-light. The 3-stage rapid leg extensions are capped with leg spikes with wind-down rubber feet for adapting to almost any ground surface.
