This filter is designed to be used on a film camera with daylight film installed, or on a digital camera with its daylight white balance setting selected.
Anti-Light Pollution. This optical glass filter not only minimizes light pollution in your night shots, but also blocks out yellow light from sodium-vapor lamps, mercury-vapor lamps, and low CRI LEDs that are commonly found in urban areas. Each piece of glass is protected by a nano coating for improved light transmission, and the outer pieces are coated to prevent dust, scratches, water, and oil from sticking, allowing you to spend less time cleaning and more time capturing the world around you. With all of that and the 2x filter factor combined, this filter does reduce the exposure by about 1 stop.
