Same Lens, New Branding. This is the same lens as the Olympus 12-100mm f/4 ED IS PRO but re-branded to reflect the transition from Olympus to OM System. Advanced Feature Set and Optics. The equivalent focal range of this Micro 4/3-mount lens in 35mm terms is 24-200mm, which is a really versatile range that will cover almost all subjects. This makes the OM SYSTEM 12-100mm f/4 ED IS PRO an ideal one-lens solution for events and vacations.
Portable, Rugged Build. With a hermetically sealed metal body and advanced lens coatings, the 12-100mm f/4 ED IS PRO is ready to take on most shooting conditions. Despite this, it remains very lightweight (under 2 pounds) and, when not extended, is under 5 inches. The customizable Lens Function button lets you easily control functions right from the lens barrel. Programmable functions include Focus Peaking, AF Stop, and Magnify.
Try it with These Micro 4/3 Cameras This lens pairs with Micro 4/3-mount cameras with Micro 4/3 sensors, where it produces an 24-200mm equivalent focal range. For consistency in weather sealing, as well as taking advantage of Sync IS (where lens and camera combine stabilization for maximum shake reduction), consider the OM-1 Mark II or the more travel-ready OM-5.
