By simply attaching the Ricoh O-GPS2 GPS Module to the hotshoe of a compatible camera, you have the ability to record the latitude, longitude, altitude, and universal time coordinated (UTC). GPS, SBAS, OZSS, GLONASS, and Galileo are all receiving satellites, and once your image has been captured, the location data can then be used to track shooting locations. Alongside location data, this unit offers a range of innovative applications, including ASTROTRACER, Simple Navigation and Electronic Compass.
