Provides Excellent Protection From Wind And Shock. The RODE Blimp Windshield for Shotgun Mics is the ultimate wind and shock absorber for RODE shotgun microphones. The Rycote Lyre shock absorber provides more vibration reduction than traditional elastic suspension and without the possibility of loose, sagging band. If an additional layer of wind protection is needed the included dead wombat windscreen will cut it down even further.
Lightweight Tail/Patch Cable Included. Built into the pistol grip is a PG2-R Pro cable that further reduces cable and handling noise. The lightweight design keeps the blimp under a pound and a half which make boom operation less physically taxing. There’s also 3/8"-16 female threads on the bottom of the handle to facilitate boom pole attachment.
Accommodates Most Shotgun Mics Up To 12.75in. In Length. This wind shield shock absorber combo works perfectly with RODE NTG-2 and NTG4+ microphones, but can also fit most shotgun mics that come in under 12.75" in length.
