The Gold mount battery’s power is greater than the camera’s standard battery, providing a longer runtime. The plate connects to the camera via a dummy battery, attached to an integrated 16" cable. A built-in regulator ensures that the correct voltage is delivered to the camera. The plate also features two D-Tap ports that provide 12 to 16V of power for accessories.
