The ProMix 3 is a cost-effective, professional-grade, and battery-operated field mixer. Key features include:
Advanced, Individually Switched Inputs. The ProMix 3 is a battery-operated field mixer that accepts inputs from three lines. All of the inputs are individually switched so that you can use multiple source types at the same time, with a separate low-cut filter for each input channel. Each input provides individually adjustable +48V phantom power.
Output Peak Limiters. The XLR outputs are adjustable on a line or microphone level, and each output channel has an output limiter. There are also headphone, tape, and microphone-out connectors (for non-XLR cameras). Output peak limiting minimizes overloaded output signal, eliminating distortion and noisy recordings.
Monitoring Options. A 1/8-inch tape output jack allows monitoring from video cameras and field recording devices, resulting in more accurate, noise-free recordings.
Bright LED. The LED output is easy to read even in sunlight, making it suitable for outdoor work. It takes two 9 volt batteries (not included) that power it approximately 6 to 8 hours.
