Dual Path 2-Channel Preamp. The PreSonus BlueTube DP v2 2-Channel Tube Preamp is a 2-in/2-out microphone/instrument preamplifier featuring “Dual Path” technology, which allows each channel to offer both a solid state and a tube preamp stage. Tube Drive can be engaged to run the signal through the 12AX7 tube for warmer vintage audio or an “edge of breakup” sound desired by many guitarists. When disengaged, the signal flows through the quiet Class A XMAX microphone solid state preamp for a cleaner, more uniform sound.
DI Box. Necessary for many bassists and guitarists, the BlueTube DP v2 can also act as a DI box, featuring balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" outputs to send audio straight to a PA system.
Phantom Power. This preamp can be used for a variety of instruments and microphones including condenser mics, thanks to the included 48 VDC phantom power. It also features a -20dB pad, phase reverse, 80 Hz filter, and tube saturation control, and can be used as a desktop preamp or mounted in a rack tray.
