Ultra-Fast Drive with 1TB Capacity. The Samsung 1TB T7 Shield Portable SSD keeps things rolling smooth & swift with a max write speed of 1,000 MB/s through its USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. Twice as fast as its predecessor, the Samsung 1TB T5 SSD, it can also move up to 9.5 times faster than a traditional external hard disk drive.
Compatibility. Easily store pictures, games, as well as 4K and 8K video on the T7 Shield. The USB Type-C port on the T7 Shield allows it to be compatible with a wide variety of devices, including Windows, Mac, or Android. Game consoles can also utilize the T7 Shield for expanded storage.
Water & Drops & Dust, Oh My! The rugged rubber exterior prevents the slips, but it protects up to 9.8 feet if a drop occurs. Additionally being shock resistant, this solid state drive also offers dust & water resistance with an IP65 rating. Even with all of these features, the T7 Shield Portable SSD is still lightweight and compact, weighing only 3.5 oz.
Mounting Kit Available. We offer the Samsung T7 SSD Mounting Bracket as a separate rental item. It’s a mounting kit we’ve made for the Samsung T7 Shield SSDs that lets you secure the drive to cameras or compatible devices with a 1/4-20" threaded hole. This kit also adds a cold-shoe accessory mounting point when installed.
