Sennheiser Quality. The Sennheiser MKH 8060 shotgun microphone has the sturdy build quality we’ve come to expect from Sennheiser. The all-metal housing is smaller than other comparable shotgun mics and is suited for mounting on-camera without extending into the image.

High Sensitivity Audio. The MKH8060 has a higher sensitivity capsule than the tried-and-true Sennheiser MKH-416 making it more suitable for shoots requiring precise high frequency audio. The supercardioid capsule offers pinpoint directional pickup and reduces off-axis sound without coloration for clean, natural results.

Shockmount & XLR Cable Included (rental only). We include a 1.5 ft. XLR cable and universal shock mount with cold shoe clamp and 3/8 threaded socket to make sure you have everything you need to get shooting.
