Super Telephoto Zoom. The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports is a long-range zoom that provides a large focal range that’s perfect for sports, wildlife, and landscape photography. The variable f/5-6.3 aperture may be a tad limiting for low-light shooting, so you’ll get the best performance while shooting in daylight. A rounded nine-blade diaphragm gives you smooth, natural-looking bokeh.

Redesigned Autofocus System. An updated autofocus system incorporates an AF actuator driven by a stepping motor and a magnetic sensor to provide fast, precise, and silent operation in a wide variety of shooting situations. The Autofocus/Manual-Focus switch also has a manual override position that enables full-time manual-focus override for quick fine-tuning.

Optical Image Stabilization. An optical image stabilization system helps to eliminate camera shake when shooting, offering up to four stops of compensation. There are two image-stabilization modes for handheld shooting and panning situations, and a new Zoom Torque switch that lets you adjust the level of zoom-ring adjustment. The Lock setting keeps the zoom ring locked at the wide end for transport, the Tight setting prevents zoom creep, and the Smooth setting facilitates smooth, easy zooming.

Advanced Optical Design. As a part of Sigma’s Sports line, this lens goes through Sigma’s rigorous A1 testing, ensuring high image quality. Its 15-group/25-element optical design incorporates 4 “F” Low-Dispersion elements and 2 Extra Low-Dispersion elements, which maintain sharpness throughout the zoom range while eliminating chromatic aberrations.

Professional Build. The lens barrel is constructed of Sigma’s durable Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, which ensures minimal shrinkage in extreme conditions. The dust- and splash-proof sealing further ensures uninhibited shooting in messy situations, with water- and oil-repellent coatings on the front and rear elements to keep them clean. Its zoom-lock switch and rotating tripod ring give you ultimate flexibility when shooting from a tripod or monopod. This rental includes the heavy-duty Sigma TS-121 tripod socket with a removable, replaceable foot.

Dock Compatible. As part of Sigma’s Global Vision series, this lens is compatible with the Sigma UD-11 USB Dock for L-Mount Lenses (separate rental item), allowing you to adjust the focus limiter, AF speed, microfocus, and OS settings through the Sigma Optimization Pro software.
