Versatile Hyper Telephoto Zoom. the Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports provides an extremely broad focal range that’s perfect for sports and wildlife photography. The variable f/4.5-6.3 aperture may be a tad limiting for low-light shooting, so you’ll get the best performance while shooting in daylight. Using an APS-C camera? You’ll get a focal length equivalent to 96-960mm.
Hyper Sonic Motor Autofocus System. This autofocus system provides fast, accurate, and silent operation in a wide variety of shooting situations. The Autofocus/Manual Focus switch also has a Manual Override position that enables full-time manual focus override for quick fine tuning.
Optical Image Stabilization. The built-in image-stabilization system helps to eliminate up to four stops of camera shake when shooting.
High Image Quality. As a part of Sigma’s Sports line, this lens goes through Sigma’s rigorous A1 testing, ensuring high image quality. Its 19-group/25-element design includes 3 “F” Low-Dispersion elements, which perform equivalently to fluorite and eliminate chromatic aberrations. Meanwhile, 1 Special Low-Dispersion element maximizes image quality.
Professional Build. The lens barrel is constructed of Sigma’s durable Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, which ensures minimal shrinkage in extreme conditions. The dust- and splash-proof sealing further ensures uninhibited shooting in messy situations, with water- and oil-repellent coatings on the front and rear elements to keep them clean. Its zoom-lock switch and rotating tripod ring give you ultimate flexibility when shooting from a tripod or monopod.
Built-In Tripod Foot. The built-in Arca-Swiss compatible tripod foot lets you mount the lens directly to a tripod.
Dock Compatible. This lens is compatible with the Sigma USB Dock for Canon EF Lenses, allowing you to adjust the focus limiter, AF speed, microfocus, and OS settings through the Sigma Optimization Pro software.
Teleconverter Compatible. If you need even more reach, this lens is compatible with the Sigma 1.4x and 2x teleconverters.
