Lightning-Fast Dual Card Reader. The RED-approved Sonnet SF3 RED Mini-Mag Pro Reader for Thunderbolt 5 / 4 / 3 can transfer data from up to two RED Mini-Mag media cards at once over a single Thunderbolt 5 cable. It boasts a very fast 1060 Mb/s ingest speed from each card.
Expandability. This reader has two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports, the second of which lets you daisy-chain up to five additional Thunderbolt-compatible peripherals, like a 4K monitor with multi-stream transport, or a total of three RED Mini-Mag Readers so that you can offload six cards at once over a single cable.
Thunderbolt Compatibility. The SF3’s Thunderbolt 3 connections are backward-compatible with Thunderbolt 2 and Thunderbolt if you use an optional Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, and forward compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and 5 devices. The reader supports 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 2, which lets you connect a USB device to the second Thunderbolt port if you have the necessary cable or adapter.
