The Sony Alpha A68 is an entry-level DSLR that uses A-mount lenses. Key features include:

24.2MP APS-C Sensor. The 24.2MP APS-C crop-frame sensor allows the capture of high-resolution images. The ISO range of 100-25,600 lets you shoot in low-light.

4D Focus The AF system uses a 79 point array, incorporating 15 center-weighted cross-type points for increased accuracy in the most often used part of the frame.

SteadyShot INSIDE Image Stabilization. Sensor-shift image stabilization minimizes camera shake with any mounted lens while shooting stills. In video mode, image shake is reduced with electronic image stabilization.

1080HD Video. Record Full HD 1080p video at 30 or 24 fps using the 50 Mbps XAVC S format. There are also options available in AVCHD as well as .mp4. There’s also a microphone input for recording audio through an external microphone (not included).

LCD and Viewfinder. The a68 features a bright 1.44 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder that gives you a live-view image of what the sensor is recording, all while the camera is up to your eye. If shooting at waist level or at arm’s length, the tilting 2.7-inch 460K-dot rear LCD also enables a constant live view.

Other Notable Features. There’s front and rear control dials, to give you quick access to camera settings. Images and video are recorded to SDHC/SDXC memory cards (not included).
