The Sony XLR-K3M Dual-Channel XLR Adapter Kit is a bundle designed to connect professional audio gear to the Sony Alpha a7R IV. We now have the Sony XLR-A4 XLR Adapter available! This kit includes:
XLR Input. This adapter provides two pre-amplified XLR-1/4" mic/line inputs with support for +48v phantom power. It’s compatible with both powered and passive microphones.
Microphone Included. We include Sony’s popular ECM-XM1 microphone for capturing high-quality scratch audio. The XM1 is a monophonic microphone with a hybrid bidirectional/shotgun pickup pattern. This rental also includes a fur windscreen for wind-noise reduction.
Digital Sound. When you connect this adapter to a compatible camera’s Multi-Interface Shoe, you get a degradation-free digital audio signal.
Mechanical Noise Suppression. This kit was designed to suppress low-frequency and handling noise, so that your audio quality is top-shelf. You don’t need connecting cables when you use a compatible MI shoe, which means you don’t have to worry about mechanical mic and cable sounds being transmitted to the mic.
Intuitive Controls. This kit’s controls include record level (Auto/Manual), record level link (Input 1/Input 2), attenuator, and low-cut filter (100/300 Hz).
Compact Design. The XLR-K3M’s extremely compact and lightweight construction helps to add many features to your camera without also adding a lot of bulk.
Flexible Setup. This rental includes an MI Shoe extension cable, which lets you position the XLR-K3M to accommodate professional rigs and camera cages.
