Ultra-Wide Cine Zoom. The Tokina Cinema ATX 11-20mm T2.9 boasts a highly versatile telephoto zoom range in a compact build. Its 1.0-foot minimum focusing distance lets you get tight close-ups, even while you’re at a comfortable distance from your subject.
Nine-Blade Aperture. A clickless nine-bladed iris gives exceptional round bokeh in out-of-focus areas. Such luxurious bokeh gives you a dreamy look when shooting wide open.
Fast Aperture. The f/2.9 constant aperture throughout the zoom range gives you flexibility when shooting in low light. It also enables better subject/background separation than the slower variable-aperture ultra-wides.
High-Quality Optics. The 11-20mm T2.9’s twelve-group/fourteen-element optical formula uses low-distortion glass to produce extremely sharp, high-contrast, and color-accurate images while combating fringing, aberrations, and distortions.
Standardized Features. All the lenses in Tokina’s Cinema ATX series have the same front lens diameters, focus, and iris ring positions. This allows for super-fast lens changes just by swinging your matte box and dropping your follow focus without moving their positions. Markings in feet appear on both sides making it easy for ACs and focus-pullers to do their jobs. This lens has 0.8 pitch gears, 300° of focus rotation, an 86mm front thread, and a 95mm front diameter.
