The REDMAG 1.8" SSD 128GB is a proprietary, high-capacity SSD that’s based on the REDMAG format. Key features include:

REDMAG Format. This small memory format is targeted for use with the data rate of the previous-generation DSMC RED Scarlet-X Brain, but can also be used with the RED Epic-X Brain. The REDMAG format is not compatible with RED DSMC2 Brains and Mini-Mag accessories.

Limited Compatibility. If you’re shooting higher frame rates and resolutions, or if you’re planning on using the RED Epic Dragon / Scarlet Dragon, you should consider the RED Mini-Mag SSD Format instead.
