High-Quality Optics. The Zeiss Otus ZF.2 100mm f/1.4 APO Sonnar features the classic Sonnar optical formula with an Apochromatic twist. The eleven-group/fourteen-element design uses a series of aspherical and low-dispersion elements to produce extremely high contrast and image quality while reducing distortion, color fringing, and aberrations. This lens uses an internal-focusing system with a floating-elements design, and image quality remains stellar from its 3.3-foot minimum focusing distance out to infinity. Using a DX-mount camera? You’ll get a 150mm equivalent focal length.
