The Zoom EXH-6 adds two extra, unpowered XLR/TRS combo inputs to compatible Zoom recorders including the Zoom Q8n-4K Handy Video Recorder, Zoom H8 Handy Recorder, Zoom H6, H5, F4, and F1.
Each input is equipped with its own preamp and -20 dB pad, so they’re all capable of handling either mic or line-level signals. There are two 5-volt preamps to minimize distortion even at high volumes.
You can only use this item with the following recorders:
It’s useless by itself, so if you rent this without a
Zoom Q8n,
Zoom H6,
F8,
F8n, or
F1 recorder, we’ll assume that you already own one.
